Zain presented its experience at the introductory meeting for cultural and artistic activities at Kuwait University


Zain participated in the introductory meeting and the enlightenment campaign of the Cultural and Artistic Activities Department of the Deanship of Student Affairs at Kuwait University, coinciding with the beginning of the first semester of the new academic year (2021-2022).

In a statement, the company stated that it participated in the inauguration ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the College of Life Sciences, in the presence of the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Salman Al-Enezi, Director of Cultural and Artistic Activities Department Jamal Bouarki, and Adviser to the Dean for Administrative Affairs Suleiman Al-Kandari.

Zain indicated that it participated in the introductory meeting of the Cultural and Artistic Activities Department through its own booth, through which it showcased its pioneering experience in the Kuwaiti telecom sector, and presented its latest competitive marketing offers for male and female students and members of the university’s faculty and administrative staff.

Last July, Zain participated in receiving new male and female students in the admission and registration hall at Kuwait University on the campus in Shuwaikh, coinciding with the start of the admission and registration period and receiving applications for enrollment, in order to provide an appropriate and comfortable atmosphere for students and workers in the hall while adhering to health requirements.

This initiative came in light of the company’s continuous efforts to support and sponsor the various activities that are held in the hall as part of its sponsorship, which lasts for more than 11 continuous years, and benefits more than 14,000 students annually.

Last year, the company provided a number of health requirements approved by the Ministry of Health in the admission and registration hall at Kuwait University in the campus in Shuwaikh area, in order to contribute to limiting the spread of infection and within the framework of its keenness to preserve the health and safety of male and female students and workers in the administrative and teaching bodies of the university .

The health requirements provided by “Zain” in the hall included signs and panels guiding the health procedures to be followed, in addition to floor posters to achieve social distancing, and the installation of transparent barriers to separate auditors, students and hall employees safely during transactions, with the possibility of smooth passage of sound, and closing Some seats to ensure that sufficient distance is left between students when sitting and waiting.

The Zain initiative came as a continuation of the efforts it made during the past two years to renovate and restore the hall in a completely new look, in order to provide an appropriate and comfortable atmosphere for students and workers.

The company is keen to cooperate effectively with various educational authorities and institutions in the country, from the public and private sectors, to support the education system, and to move forward in preparing national leaders capable of completing the process of development and renaissance.

Zain cooperated with the Deanship of Admission and Registration to completely restore the admission and registration hall, and equip it with the necessary furniture and equipment, to receive male and female students throughout the year, during the period of approval of admission and registration of new students.

Zain is keen to provide the appropriate and comfortable atmosphere for students and workers in the hall, when completing their transactions and completing their procedures, which will reflect positively on their academic achievement.
