Zain Kuwait has signed a strategic agreement with Ericsson to upgrade and modernize its existing business support systems, paving the way for launching standalone 5G services on a commercial scale in Kuwait.

Upgrading Ericsson’s existing BSS solutions will enable Zain Kuwait to handle standalone 5G use cases, improve customer experiences, and unlock the full capabilities of 5G networks.

Ericsson’s BSS solutions will provide Zain Kuwait with more flexibility and efficiency, and will reduce the time it will need to bring 5G services to market.

Ericsson’s Business Support Systems solutions include a variety of solutions including Ericsson Charging, Ericsson CatalogManager, Ericsson Order Care, Ericsson Dynamic Activation and Ericsson Mediation.
