“Zain” is the digital partner of the MIT Forum for Entrepreneurship … in the Arab world

The MIT Forum for Entrepreneurship in the Arab World launched the 14th digital edition of the MIT Forum competition for Arab startups, inviting Arab entrepreneurs from all sectors to submit applications for participation through the website of the annual competition, the oldest of its kind, in the Middle East and North Africa Specially designed to support Arab innovations.

The competition is organized in partnership with “Community Jameel”, the global charitable organization that runs several initiatives aimed at creating positive change in society and achieving economic sustainability, and in cooperation with the “MIT” Entrepreneurship Forum with Zain as a strategic digital partner.

The right time to monitor activity

For 14 years, the competition has offered cash prizes worth more than $ 1.28 million to winning entrepreneurs, providing them with a platform to present and implement their ideas.

Registration opened on August 29 on the competition’s official website, and will last until December 15, and the organizers will run a series of introductory and promotional tours that introduce entrepreneurs to the competition and help them with their requests. Those interested can register for the next introductory session, which will take place, through the competition’s website, when it is announced.

The MIT Forum Arab Startup Competition has turned into an annual event that is awaited by thousands of young entrepreneurs in the Arab world, who consider it a platform that allows them to present, test and develop their creative ideas. The competition takes place every year under 3 tracks: the Ideas Track, the Startups Track, and the Social Entrepreneurship Track. The competition awards cash prizes totaling $ 160,000, and the teams that qualified for the semi-finals will participate in a series of preparatory activities, which include training courses, mentoring sessions and workshops. In the final stages of the competition, the jury will select 9 final winners (3 teams for Each track).
