What did Harry describe Prince Philip

Prince Harry praised his late grandfather, Prince Philip, for his devotion to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and said in a statement: “My grandfather, thank you for your service and devotion to the grandmother and for always being yourself.”

“He was sincere, he was very intelligent and could gain attention in any room because of his charm and because he could never know what he might say next,” he added.

Philip gained wide fame in Britain because of his sense of humor and dedication to the performance of his duties, but he was criticized for his spontaneous comments, some of which were racist, and shocked princes, priests and presidents.

Exceptional man

Harry’s eulogy came minutes after his older brother Prince William, second in line to the throne of Britain, paid tribute to his grandfather for his service to his country.

William, Duke of Cambridge, said Philip was an exceptional man whose life had been distinguished by serving his country, the Queen and the Commonwealth of Nations.

“I will miss my grandfather, but I know he wants us to continue working,” William, 38, said in a statement. My grandfather was an exceptional man and part of an extraordinary generation. ” He went on to say: “My grandfather’s life spanning a century was distinguished by his service to his country, the Commonwealth, his wife the Queen, and our family.”

He said he felt fortunate to have the example Prince Philip set to guide him in his life, and he praised his grandfather for showing great kindness to his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

“Catherine (Duchess of Cambridge) and I will continue to do what he wanted, and we will support the Queen in the coming years,” William said.
