Directed by Taika Waititi, to whom we also owe the previous part Thor: Ragnarok (2017), the film allows us to resume the adventures of the God of Thunder where we left off at the end ofAvengers: Endgame (2019). Pot-bellied and disillusioned, Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth) swore to live in peace after his epic with the Guardians of the Galaxy. A peace that will not last.

Accompanied by his faithful hammer, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) then embarks on an unprecedented quest, “that of his own serenity”, specifies the scenario. These first images reveal his reunion with his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, whom he had not seen since “eight years, seven months and six days”, specifies the scenario. After Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), this fourth installment of the Thor franchise is the second film from Marvel Studios to be released this year.
