The College of Education at Zayed University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Thought Foundation, held the third education conference under the title “Zayed’s legacy … The fifty-year step begins now”, as a commitment to support education in the UAE and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic, the conference was organized according to the default format.
The conference kicked off its activities with a speech from the Minister of Culture and Youth and President of Zayed University, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, in which she focused on the importance of education that provides us with the necessary knowledge and skills, in order to excel in a changing world, and help us broaden our horizons. She stressed Zayed University’s continuous support for the development of high-quality educational institutions, professional professors, and its aspiration towards building a tolerant society with social responsibility.
Noura Al Kaabi pointed to the UAE’s continuous endeavor to adapt to changes, to be an active partner in producing the best educational models and systems in the world, and applying best educational practices, stressing that education in the UAE will advance in the next fifty years, to produce future generations that are open, flexible and effective. She has unique talents and abilities.
