The Saudi stock market index closed at the highest point in 11 years

The main Saudi stock index closed today, up 51.74 points, to close at 11,208.76 points, with transactions worth 7.7 billion riyals.

The number of traded shares reached more than 245 million shares, which were shared by more than 300,000 deals, in which the shares of 61 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 133 companies closed down.

The shares of Eastern Cement, Al-Rajhi Takaful, Al-Rajhi Reit, Insurance Arabia, and Saudi Ceramics were the highest gainers, while the shares of Al Hokair Group, Al Jazeera, Emaar, Swicorp, Apple REIT, and Gas were the lowest in trading, with the rise and fall rates ranging between 5.70% and 4.26%.

While the shares of Al-Jazira, Dar Al-Arkan, Al-Enmaa, Emaar, Swicorp and Apple REIT companies were the most active in terms of quantity, while the shares of Al-Inmaa, Al-Jazira, Al-Rajhi, Al-Ahly, and SABIC companies were the most active in value.

The Saudi parallel stock index (Nomu) closed today, down 25.47 points to close at 24,897.11 points, with transactions amounting to 23 million riyals, and the number of traded shares reached 225 thousand shares, shared by 1026 deals.
