The main Saudi stock index closed today, down 45.24 points, to close at 11270.57 points, with transactions worth 4.9 billion riyals.
The number of traded shares reached more than 140 million shares, which were shared by more than 230 thousand deals, in which the shares of 54 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 134 companies closed down.
The shares of Al-Andalus, Sipchem International, Gulf Union, United Insurance, and Saudi Replay were the highest gainers, while the shares of National Education, Eastern Development, Al-Hokair, Al-Ahly Takaful, and Fisheries were the lowest in transactions, as the percentages of rise and fall ranged between 6.80 % and 1.98%.
The shares of Saudi Kayan, Al-Andalus, Dar Al-Arkan, Tasnee, and Emaar companies were the most active in terms of quantity, and the shares of Tabuk Agricultural companies, Saudi Kayan, Sipchem International, Al-Rajhi, and SABIC were the most active in value.
The Saudi parallel stock index (Nomu) closed today, down 34.38 points to close at 25139.36 points, with transactions worth 58 million riyals, and the number of traded shares reached more than 390,000 shares, shared by 2,260 deals.
