The MSc Health Analysis, Policy & Management course

Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow is inviting applications for The MSc Health Analysis, Policy & Management course starting in September 2021. The MSc course has been developed to equip students with practical, evaluative, and analytical skills to allow you to influence and develop strategy and performance in the healthcare sector.

The skills you’ll learn are sought after for roles at different levels in organizations across the health sector, including in hospitals, health systems, healthcare consulting firms, governments, and other local and international health organizations. They’re also useful tools for beginning an academic research career in the area.

The academics of the Business School are actively engaged in research and consulting work for the UK and international health organizations, including the English and Scottish National Health Services in the UK, including advising healthcare systems on Covid-19 response.

The final component of the MSc course is a three-month summer dissertation project. The Department will arrange projects with external host organizations, as well as with internal academic clients. The type of placement you pursue will depend on your career goals, preferences, and a host of other factors. You can also propose your own projects.

This unique course takes a ‘systems thinking’ approach to improving decision-making in healthcare in the UK and internationally.

Duration -12 months

Eligibility- Minimum second-class honors degree, or overseas equivalent in management sciences, economics, business, public health, health sciences, mathematics, statistics, and computing science.

Applications from those with other degrees are also encouraged. Your degree must include an appropriate level of mathematics and statistics content. A minimum of 6.5 IELTS score, with no individual score lower than 5.5.

Fee – £ 21,300 per academic year for international students.
