The Islamic University of Madinah has signed a memorandum of understanding with one of the international companies specialized in the field of communications and information, to develop local digital skills in the Kingdom and develop the capabilities of talented students.
The agreement signed with Huawei, in the presence of His Highness, President of the University, Prince Dr. Mamdouh bin Saud bin Thunayan, International Vice President of Huawei Technologies Hu Tao, and Executive Vice President of the company in the Kingdom Stephen Liu and a number of university officials, aims to provide the latest technologies to the university to contribute to the welfare of students. Talented people and enhance their capabilities through the Huawei ICT Academy programs.
This agreement comes in view of the important role that technical skills play in achieving digital transformation, which is one of the main ingredients for achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Despite the great progress made by the Kingdom in the field of developing technical talent, its ambitious program that focuses on digital transformation requires building An evolving ecosystem of ICT talent.
