The Family Affairs Council, represented by the Women’s Committee, concluded today the activities of the Tala Woman’s Idyathon, which it organized during the period from December 3 to 9, in a strategic partnership with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monshaat” and the Social Development Bank, in conjunction with the activities of Riyadh, the Capital of Arab Women for the year 2020.
The Women’s Committee held Idyathon events virtually, and it provided the opportunity for those interested in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom of women and men to participate in the tracks that included supporting the status of women after the Corona pandemic, women’s and family health, technology and electronic applications, culture and arts, and legal and legal awareness.
The closing ceremony included a speech by the Family Affairs Council, two words by the Social Development Bank and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at), a word of thanks to the partners, advisors, coaches and the jury, in addition to a presentation of the projects that qualified for winning, and the announcement of the winning projects. The Idyathon activities, which lasted 7 consecutive days, were a busy schedule that covered training sessions with 20 training hours with the participation of 10 trainers, in addition to advisory sessions in which 38 consultants participated to implement 135 work hours, in addition to submitting project proposals, evaluating and judging them until the winners are announced at the ceremony. Idyathon Tala Women’s goal is to enhance the role of Saudi women, convert ideas into emerging projects, and support existing projects for development and growth by providing them with the necessary knowledge and tools through training materials and advisory sessions provided by Idyathon’s strategic partners.
