When we see the two brothers for the first time in the flowery room of a Parisian hotel located next to the Madeleine, we furtively think of the twins of Shining, according to Stephen King.
Zoran and Ludovic Boukherma stood up as one man to say hello. The directors of Teddy, a formidable dramatic comedy recounting the wanderings of a werewolf with a Southwestern accent, unwittingly release that feeling of disturbing strangeness which is part of their charm.
Barely 29 years old, these Gemini twins already have an impressive cinematic journey to their credit. With their first feature film, Willy 1st, released in 2015, they stood out by presenting their film to Acid (the Association of Independent Cinema for its distribution) at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Teddy will only have confirmed this first impression, this time being part of the official selection of the Cannes Film Festival 2020.
