The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon), and the Center for Building Productive Families (JANA), signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at supporting and empowering productive families to establish projects in the industrial cities and transform their businesses into industrial projects. The memorandum aims to overcome the challenges of creating industrial incubators for productive families by providing workspaces concerned with the practice of manufacturing industries for the productive families sponsored by “Jana”. In addition to training and developing productive families in accordance with the initiatives, programs, capabilities and systems of the parties to this memorandum, and keeping pace with the “Made in Saudi Arabia” program, which was launched by the Industry and Mineral Resources System at the beginning of the year 2021 AD, under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince through specialized incubators.
This memorandum comes from the integration of roles between the Industrial Development Agency in the Ministry and the Authority, and the Center for Building Productive Families “Jana”, and to achieve the principle of social responsibility, and to contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by increasing non-governmental investments in the industrial sector, raising awareness of national products and increasing the level of consumer confidence. .
