“Saudi Standards” stresses the importance of partnership with the private sector to overcome challenges

His Excellency noted, during an open meeting held by the Chamber of Commerce in Qassim today, in the presence of a number of members of the Chamber’s board of directors and those interested, and the management of a member of the Qassim Chamber’s board of directors, Omar Al-Mushaiq, that the region has a great industrial and commercial heritage and economic and logistical advantages that are qualitative and attractive to investment, expressing his deep appreciation for the Qassim Chamber To organize the meeting, listen to the challenges and complaints from the stakeholders directly, and take constructive suggestions aimed at developing optimal solutions to overcome obstacles and difficulties.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Qassim Chamber, Muhammad Al Hanaya, affirmed the Chamber’s desire to open new horizons for joint cooperation within the framework of harmony and integration between the public and private sectors to serve various sectors in a way that achieves the desired goals and achieves the desired aspirations that keep pace with the objectives of Vision 2030, noting that the Chamber is keen to be an element He is active and important in supporting comprehensive and sustainable national development efforts, calling for the need for solutions to overlaps in some disciplines and to put an end to the dilemmas facing small and emerging enterprises and productive families regarding factory permits for the food industries and the requirements of certain standard specifications.

The open meeting dealt with the Authority’s projects and initiatives, the achievements of the Saudi Product Safety Program “Salim” initiative, the “Saber” platform, and future development plans, as well as a number of interventions and questions from the attendees and participants.
