The work of the Sixth Middle East Conference and Exhibition for Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine (MEIDAM) will be launched on the 23rd of this September, virtually and in attendance, at the Intercontinental Festival City Hotel in Dubai, with the participation of the Saudi Society of Dermatology and Dermatology as a major scientific partner, under the patronage of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award Maktoum Medical Sciences.
High-level representatives from the World Health Organization as a scientific partner, and the High Commissioner for Refugees as a humanitarian partner will participate in the conference, as part of the conference’s income has been allocated to support the Commission in its humanitarian programs in some Arab countries.
The vice president of the conference, a consultant in dermatology and anti-aging, Dr. Saad Al-Sugair, said that the representation of the Kingdom and Saudi doctors in the conference is the largest in terms of number and distinguished scientific weight, with the participation of an elite of the most skilled dermatologists and beauticians from the Kingdom as speakers and chairs of many scientific sessions. A special scientific session will also be held under the direct scientific supervision of the Saudi Society of Diseases for Dermatology and Surgery. Al-Sugair explained that the conference will discuss the latest developments related to dermatology and cosmetic medicine after the “Corona” stage, and new treatments for incurable skin diseases such as psoriasis and vitiligo, and the latest laser devices and devices related to plastic medicine and surgery.
