“Sakani” touches the target in 2020 by distributing 285 thousand products


The Sakani program has come close to achieving its goals this year, with the number of beneficiaries from its various options increasing to 285,000 from a total of 300,000. The Minister of Housing and the Designated Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Majed Al-Hogail, revealed that more than 31 thousand families have benefited from housing options in the housing program during the month of September 2020, pointing out that the number of families who inhabited their homes during the past month reached 12.23 thousand families. On Twitter, the total number of beneficiaries of housing and financing options since the beginning of the year 2020 has reached 285,000 families, representing 85% of the targeted number, of which 96.63 families have lived in their homes. The “Sakani” program stated, in a statement yesterday, that the total number of housing units under construction that the beneficiaries have booked since the beginning of this year amounted to 61.55 thousand housing units, while contracts for 74.01 thousand residential land were issued, and the total number of beneficiaries of the subsidized real estate loan option to buy a ready housing unit reached 91.88 One thousand families, in addition to 58.32 thousand families, benefited from the mortgage subsidized for the self-construction option. The spokesman for the Ministry of Housing, Saif bin Salem Al-Swailem, confirmed that the program will continue to pump various residential units and lands in partnership with qualified real estate developers through easy procedures, options and various services that meet all families’ needs and desires. Al-Suwailem pointed out that “Sakani” projects include 58 projects in which construction work continues and are characterized by reasonable prices between 250-750 thousand riyals, and its units vary between villas, apartments and townhouses, such as (Al-Jawan suburb in Riyadh, the facade suburb in Dammam, and the suburb of Al-Jawhara in Grandmother).
