Ooredoo Communications Company, the first telecom company to provide innovative digital services in Kuwait, has sponsored the four Kuwaiti national team shooters for the upcoming Olympic Games, which will be held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.

The company indicated in a statement that the CEO of Ooredoo Kuwait, Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, and the Senior Director of Corporate Communications Department, Mijbil Al-Ayoub, were received by them, expressing their pride for their strenuous efforts and outstanding sporting achievements on behalf of Kuwait, which resulted in their qualification for the Olympics.

The company indicated that this sponsorship came to confirm Ooredoo’s role in supporting Kuwaiti talents and motivating their abilities to achieve a distinguished participation of the Kuwaiti national team in the largest sports event in the world.

For his part, the Kuwaiti team, which consists of Olympic shooters Abdullah Al-Tariqi Al-Rashidi, Talal Al-Tariqi Al-Rashidi, Mansour Al-Tariqi Al-Rashidi, and Abdul-Rahman Nasser Al-Faihan, confirmed its readiness for the upcoming Olympic Games (Tokyo 2021) as a result of intensive training in internal and external camps, as well as their participation in tournaments. regional and international.
