MODON presents investment opportunities that enhance its local position in the “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “Modon” is participating in the “Made in Saudi” exhibition, which is being held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, during the period from February 13 to 16 in Riyadh, in conjunction with the activities of the Riyadh season.

MODON is reviewing a package of investment opportunities that enhance diversification of the production base and contribute to the development of Saudi foreign exports, in light of the industrial cities’ pioneering industrial climate and stable infrastructure.

The official spokesman, Qusai Al-Abdulkarim, explained that MODON, as part of its strategy to empower the industry and contribute to increasing local content, seeks to create a model environment and support it with advanced technologies, services and innovative industrial products that achieve the satisfaction of its partners in the private sector, to attract and localize value-added investments to the national economy in line with its pivotal role within the Saudi Vision 2030, and the initiatives assigned to it in the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program “NADLP”.

And he indicated that MODON is an industrial enabler with significant contributions to meeting local demand and attracting local and foreign investments in 36 industrial cities, comprising more than 3,724 productive factories, employing more than 517,242 male and female employees, including more than 200,000 male and female employees of national competencies.

He said, “Modon” provides value-added products and services to enhance and develop the investments of its partners, including investors, entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises, in addition to products directed to the development of women’s work in an environment that achieves the goals of industrial localization and ensures the growth of the national economy, indicating that it has strategic options. And proactive plans that make it able to overcome emergency developments and crises with a vision that leads towards the future, which contributed to reducing the repercussions of the pandemic not only on the industrial sector, but on the national economy in general, by meeting the local market’s requirements for various products and commodities, especially the food and medical sectors.

Since its inception in 2001, MODON has been interested in developing industrial lands with integrated services. Today, it oversees 36 existing and under development industrial cities in various regions of the Kingdom, in addition to supervising private industrial complexes and cities.
