The Municipality of Jeddah Governorate and the international plastic artist Shalimar Sharbatly signed an agreement for the initiative “Draw a Homeland” within the framework of initiatives to improve the visual scene in Jeddah Governorate. The initiative aims to paint on a number of cars, old and ruined vehicles, and turn them into masterpieces, by recycling them and transforming them from environmental pollutants into works of art that contribute to enriching the visual taste.
The Under Secretary for Community Service, Eng. Ayed Al-Zahrani, explained that the signing of the agreement with the plastic artist “Saudi” Shalimar Sharbatly comes within the framework of the program to improve the visual scene in the Jeddah governorate, and to benefit from the recycling of damaged cars and turn them into artistic masterpieces that are displayed in some public facilities for residents. For her part, the international plastic artist, Shalimar Sharbatly, thanked the Mayor of Jeddah, Mr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, for his continuous support to improve the visual scene in the city and highlight the artworks.
