“Hadaf”: The supported employee has no right to delay or stop the wage


The Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” deposited 181 million riyals for private sector establishments that meet the conditions of the employment support program for the month of April. The fund confirmed the continuation of providing support for the wages of Saudi men and women employed in the private sector, in all jobs and professions in all establishments, at a rate ranging from 30% to 50% of the employee’s monthly wage for a period of two years according to the terms of the program, stressing that the facility has no right to delay or stop the employee’s monthly wage. Supported by the fund, on its due date, and linking the payment of the subsidized employee’s wage or delaying it until the date of receiving the support provided by the fund, is in violation of the support agreement concluded between Goal and the facility, and the fund will take the necessary action against the violating firms. The program support includes employee wages ranging between 3200 riyals and 15 thousand riyals, and establishments receive an additional 10% support when hiring females, people with disabilities, and when hiring in all cities except for Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Khobar, and in small, micro and medium enterprises, as well as For the affected activities, and several other targeted professions, provided that the maximum support does not exceed 50% of the employee’s monthly wage, or 3000 riyals, whichever is less.
