The story is that of a young aristocrat, Constance, married to a wealthy landowner, paralyzed and sexually powerless. Frustrated and abandoned by her husband, Lady Chatterley drowns her boredom by starting an affair, quickly passionate, with the gamekeeper. The screenplay will be written by David Magee, to whom we owe, in particular, Life of Pi.
Already adapted to the cinema by Pascale Ferran in 2006 with Marina Hands in the main role, the work had created controversy at the time of its release. Published in Florence in 1928, DH Lawrence’s novel was authorized for publication in the United Kingdom only in 1960. In question: the explicit nature of the sexual scenes described as well as the misalliance of the two lovers, from different social classes.

Used to aristocratic roles, Corrin will no longer be part of the cast of season 5 of The Crown. This time it will be Elizabeth Debicki who will play the Princess of Wales. Despite this passage in the series on the ruthless universe of the crown of England, the actress has nevertheless managed to impose herself in the middle of stars of character, including Olivia Colman, Helena Bonham Carter, Gillian Anderson and Josh O’Connor. Most of them have, moreover, been rewarded for their respective interpretations.
On the cinema side, the young actress appeared in Misbehavior, starring Keira Knightley, Keeley Hawes and Gugu Mbatha-Raw and will also be seen opposite Harry Styles in My Policeman, based on the novel of the same name.
