The Franco-Israeli singer Rika Zaraï, known in particular for her hit Without shirt, without pants in the 1970s, died at age 82, the Israeli embassy in France announced on Wednesday (December 23).

Born in Jerusalem, the singer married to Johann Zaraï, comes to France to study music, after having set up a musical group during her military service in Israel.
While singing in nightclubs, she meets Eddie Barclay. The producer offers him a contract and Rika Zaraï records his first singles. In the second half of the 1960s and in the 1970s, successes followed one after another: Casatschok, So i sing, Without shirt, without pants or Balapapa.
His last appearance on stage was in February. After 12 years of absence due to a stroke in 2008, Rika Zaraï performs at the Folies Bergères, in Paris, on the occasion of La Nuit de la déprime, where she performs her song Prague, a few days before celebrating his 82 years.
