Citizen account achieves the WSIS award for the e-government track

The Citizen Account Program has achieved the e-government track championship in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Award – Category Seven – of the United Nations for the year 2021 AD, thus registering a new achievement in global forums that is awarded in the name of the Kingdom.

The Director General of the Citizen Account Program, Walid bin Salem Al-Asmari, stated that these awards give real meaning to what the program offers in the service of the citizen, with its commitment to promoting the global values ​​of the information society, and to providing the highest standards of service and quality, indicating that the program has succeeded in achieving all global standards set by nations United to serve the community, including community empowerment, the results achieved and the impact resulting from the program, as the program developed its partnerships with other government agencies whose information exchanged with those bodies exceeded more than 8.4 billion exchanged information since the program was launched, indicating that these achievements come as a continuation of the successive successes that have taken place. Achieving them during the past years, as the program has obtained several international awards and certificates, including the ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Quality Certificate and two World Call Center awards in 2018, in addition to the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award for the year 2019.
