Building in 64 projects for “sakani” … and issuing 467 thousand “certificates of real estate behavior.”


The “Sakani” program issued its report for the month of April, including its most prominent achievements during the first quarter of 2021, and a set of data and statistics on the number of beneficiary families, the projects being implemented, and the number of real estate transactions certificates. The report also highlighted that 24,356 families benefited during the month of March, including 17,947 families who lived in their homes, as a continuation of the program’s efforts to enable Saudi families to own the first home, in order to achieve the objectives of the housing program – one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs – by reaching 70% ownership by 2030. The report indicated that the total number of certificates bearing tax on real estate disposals for the first housing since the beginning of the program until the end of last March amounted to 467,746 certificates. The report also reviewed the housing and financing solutions provided by the program, which include the subsidized mortgage loan in cooperation with banks and financing institutions to purchase ready and under construction housing units or Self-construction for those who own land, and reserving residential land within the “sakani” program, with the aim of increasing ownership rates among citizens.

The report included 70,120 families benefiting from all the housing and financing options and solutions provided by the program in the first quarter of this year, of which 49,566 families lived in their homes, in addition to the current year’s targets, which include serving 220,000 new families, making 30,000 residential land available for reservation and pumping 50,000 A new housing unit under construction in partnership with real estate developers, and the provision of 140,000 subsidized real estate loans in cooperation with banks and financing institutions to purchase ready and “under construction” housing units or self-construction for those who own land.

The report highlighted developments in construction updates in 64 projects that provide more than 100 thousand housing units, ranging from apartments, villas, and townhouses, which are characterized by the integration of infrastructure and their competitive prices.
