Berlinale 2022: from the heart to the work

TO ANALYSE – Shortened and very framed, the Berlin film festival compensates for a lack of brilliance with a few surprises.

On Wednesday evening, the Berlinale will deliver its prize list. The conclusion of a 72and edition shortened but maintained in the midst of the Omicron wave, at the cost of a drastic protocol capable of converging all the “freedom convoys” of the world towards the German capital. The festival-goers who did not give up stretched their nostrils and clenched their teeth. They also kept their eyes wide open to survey the eighteen feature films in competition in five days.
