The program announced in a press release today that the number of families benefiting from various housing solutions and options during the month of April reached 19,373 families, including 17,085 families who lived in their homes, by making use of the services of the “Sakani” application, which provides all housing options that include ready and under Construction, residential lands, and self-construction, in addition to other facilities and services that include certificates of bearing tax on real estate transactions, real estate advisor, immediate registration and entitlement, and others within easy and easy procedures.
The total number of families benefiting from the subsidized mortgage to buy ready housing units from the beginning of the year 2021 until last April reached 39,783 families, while 27,418 families benefited from the self-construction option, and about 13 thousand families preferred to take advantage of the residential land option within “residential” schemes, and 9255 families. I benefited from the subsidized real estate loan to buy housing units under construction.
The program indicated the continuity of construction and implementation work within the projects under construction in partnership with real estate developers, as 64 residential projects are witnessing rapid development in preparation for the start of handing over their units to the beneficiary families, within 98 projects providing 143,000 housing units with an average price of 600,000 riyals, most of which are distributed in Major residential suburbs that provide a modern life in which the various units of villas, apartments and townhouses are integrated with various facilities and services in Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah and Madinah. The program allows for the reservation and selection of all housing options and financing solutions within easy and easy procedures through the “Sakani” application and website, in addition to taking advantage of additional facilities such as real estate consultants, issuing real estate tax certificates for the first home, obtaining a price quote from financing agencies, and issuing land contracts electronically. And benefit from the engineering design service and the “approved contractor”, as well as the immediate registration and entitlement and the issuance of building licenses electronically.
