Makkah Cultural Forum will be launched in its fifth session under the slogan «How can we be an example? In the digital world »in cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration, training programs and (remote) courses aimed at training more than 1000 male and female employees from various government sectors in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region on computer skills and digital systems.
The courses include 23 technical training programs aimed at achieving administrative development and digital transformation of government agencies, raising the efficiency of their performance and developing the skills of their employees to promote digital transformation in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region. Among the training programs to be implemented are the basics of information security with the aim of developing the skills of trainees on information security and the threats they face, and applying Appropriate security solutions to meet all challenges, as well as a course on basics of databases to develop the skills of trainees in using methods of database systems management in designing and implementing databases, and e-government strategies, which aim to develop the skills of trainees to understand what e-government is, its strategies and applications, preparing correspondence, and advanced skills In word processing and tables.

In a related matter, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SADAA) intends to train 100 young men and women in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region in the field of data and artificial intelligence, while the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, as part of its participation in the forum, launched (remote) lectures under the title «Digital Transformation in the Hajj and Umrah Sector» aimed To learn about capabilities that contribute to enriching the experience of the guest of Rahman, also the lecture on digital transformation in the future of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and sheds light on the automation of work to link government agencies in the region with the emirate electronically and addresses the definition of digital transformation, methods of promoting digital transformation in Makkah, levels of digital transformation, obstacles and suggested solutions.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced the launch of a program to train 1000 employees, university students and job-seekers in digital skills from Makkah Al-Mukarramah region. The training will be part of the “Skills of the Future” initiative in specific journals including the Internet of Things, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security, Data Science. Database management, business analysis, technical communication project management, e-commerce, postal and logistical services, network engineering, software, web and application development, game design and development, call centers, and the operation and maintenance of communication and information technology.
